Westbury shop and cafe has been established as a not-for-profit community initiative and has recently undergone some exciting new changes.
Hellen has recently taken over the management of the shop and café with an increased emphasis on the café. We will continue to sell local products and a few necessities, with an aim to increasing the seating and tables in the café so we can provide for more people. Hellen will be working alongside our lovely local volunteers and Emily.
The vintage-style café, offering free wi-fi, serves freshly brewed tea and real coffee and delicious cakes including gluten-free (made by Hellen & committee members) and pastries. We have a new menu which we will continue to improve, for both eating in and taking away. Any requests or suggestions would be welcome.
We are proud to be wheelchair friendly, have ample parking – including disabled spaces adjacent to the building. We are also child & baby friendly – we have a few highchairs and even offer babychinos! There is a large play area opposite.
“I highly recommend this little shop, really well stocked and you can buy hot drinks and sit inside/outside to enjoy a brief respite! – Ina Wallace”

NEW Catering Service
Westbury Shop & Cafe now provide a buffet service with competitive prices (Mon-Sat), catering for birthday/anniversary parties, meetings, wakes and special events. Please call 01280 841775 or email email@example.com to discuss requirements and prices.
Westbury now has its very own Café Society that anyone can join. The first two well-attended events were an evening in November with Jonathan Keates, Chair of ‘Venice in Peril’, speaking on ‘Is Venice sinking and does it really matter?’, and a Comedy Evening with Richard Duncombe and Jeremy Cooper to cheer up the grey days before spring. We are planning at least two more events this year.. For more information and to join please click HERE.
Volunteers are vital to the success of the Shop and Cafe
Are you interested in becoming involved in this exciting community project either by helping with the business or volunteering in the shop and cafe? Young people can volunteer from the age of 12 for up to 2 hrs. Those aged 12-14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please contact us, however much time you are able to give. Call the shop on 01280 841775 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
