Westbury village hall was built in 2016, replacing the much loved pavilion. Although the old pavilion served us well, this exciting new chapter created a much larger multi-purpose village hall and sports facility and a community-run shop and cafe, in order to address the needs of our growing community. With emphasis on inclusion, particular attention is focused on supporting the young and the more mature in our village.
The building of our village hall was very much a team effort, it has given a wonderful heart to our village and is supported by so many volunteers from different areas of our community. A massive thanks to all our supporters, but particular thanks goes to the friends and families of Westbury and surrounding villages for all their support – financial and practical!
With such an impressive new hall we needed an impressive new driveway and in June 2018, work was completed! Westbury Parish Council is proud to be associated with R.S.Haynes who has been monumental in this project.
We are very grateful for the financial support of the Big Lottery – Awards for All, Viridor, Westbury Village Hall Association and Westbury Parish Hall Charity. The ongoing community support of the village hall has helped make this new road achievable. Thanks to all.
